On breaks and downtime, guests are welcome to visit the local villages and beaches. The Cape Tryon Lighthouse is just a short ten-minute walk away. For a banquet or party, Wild Goose Lodge will provide local entertainment as well.
Team building has never been easier when you combine outdoor activities such as softball, volleyball, soccer, horseshoes or croquet. There are even several golf courses within a short distance from the lodge for your guests to enjoy. Golf packages and Canadian goose hunting trips may also be planned with your corporate retreat. Other activities include deep-sea fishing and sea kayaking. The beaches are with walking distance as well.
The nearby villages and towns feature ample opportunities for your staff to get out and enjoy the island together. Charlottetown and Summerside are known for their excellent harness racing tracks while Cavendish is home to the Ann of Green Gables museum. There is also the chance that you may see celebrities and live theater in Charlottetown. The quaint village of French River is beautiful with excellent dining options.
Accommodations at the Wild Goose Lodge feature several two-bedroom suites and one three-bedroom suite. The Wharf at French River is also available with two two-bedroom suites. Each have their own private bathrooms, full kitchens and living areas. They also feature 25-inch televisions with local stations.
