Gander River Outfitters have offered top  quality fly fishing and hunting excursions  since 1992. Every year more than 25,000 wild atlantic salmon "swim by the camp" in Gander River. The regular fishing season runs from late June until the first week of September. The salmon make another great run as they head for the headwaters of Gander River in the cooler months of September and October. You will have the option of either fishing from a boat or the shore, either way your guide will take you to the best fishing spots we offer. They will also help you with your fishing technique to maximize the experience. 

Gander Riber provides lodging for up to 12 guests as well as meals and meeting space. The lodge is equipped with electricity and cellular service for your needs.

Gander River Outfitters offers fly-fishing classes in one-day sessions at the fishing lodge during the summer and fall fishing seasons.  A good knowledge of casting helps the guest to fully enjoy their fly-fishing experience and make the most of their vacation. You also have the opportunity to learn more about rods, lines, reels flies and of course – knots.
