Wild Goose Lodge offers some of the best waterfowl hunting in Canada. Canadian Geese are prevalent on Prince Edward Island and hunters from all over the world have been drawn here for the best waterfowl hunting in Canada. In addition to geese, hunters may also choose to hunt a variety of ducks including mallard, black and teal.

Wild Goose Lodge sits on the shores of Malpeque Bay. As a Wild Goose Lodge client, you will hunt over barley, wheeat, corn and potatoes and your group will always be the only hunters at a site. Wild Goose Lodge is located along Prince Edward Island's north shore, in the heart of the best Canada goose hunting on the Island. many species of ducks are also plentiful, including Blacks, Mallards, Pintails, and Teal, all available to hunt at no extra cost.)

Combo hunts are also available for goose and pheasant hunting. You will spend three days of goose hunting at Wild Goose Lodge and then spend two days hunting pheasant at the Shepody Pheasant Preserve in New Brunswick where you will enjoy two nights accommodation in the Shepody Lodge. These combination hunts are great for the avid bird hunter looking to make the most of his or her trip to Canada.

The migratory bird-hunting season begins the first Monday in October and continues through mid-December. Most of the geese seen at the Wild Goose Lodge migrate from Labrador and many are seen as early as August. For your hunting trip, guests will be required to purchase a Federal Migratory Game Permit as well as a Prince Edward Island Non-Resident Hunting License and Conservation Certificate. These licenses will be issued to you upon check-in. You will also require a  Firearm Safety Certificate from your state or province. 

There is no Sunday hunting allowed and guns must be plugged. The daily limit for geese is five with a possession limit of ten. Hunters are also allowed to bag six ducks per day, of which four can be blacks. A local “plucker” will process and freeze your birds and have them ready for you after your final hunt.

Wild Goose Lodge is also an excellent location for your next corporate retreat or incentive trip.
